Spring Cleaning
It's time for all of us to start thinking about spring cleaning. The time of year we break out the broom and chase cobwebs out of those dark corners we haven't thought about since the last spring cleaning expedition. At ProCare, we want to help. We won't show up with brooms and mops, but we are looking for that equipment that has been in your facility for a while.

When medical equipment is running well, we often forget about it's "freshness" as we take care of the squeaky wheel. Our patients, family members, and friends don't complain as long as it isn't alarming. It is important that we remember to do our regular preventive maintenance and cleaning on a regular basis. Air surfaces should be cleaned at least once every six months, more often if a top sheet is not used. You wouldn't change your soiled sheets once per year would you? Bed frames, pumps, and other equipment becomes soiled as well. Electrical safety tests need to be updated, and functionality tests must be performed regularly.

Good news! ProCare specializes in bringing equipment back to life, and for ProCare rental clients, it's free. If you own your equipment, we can help as well. If you are renting from someone else, why? Just kidding. You should call your DME provider and ask them to help you with your spring cleaning. If they can't or won't, give us a call. We are never too busy.
